Barrenger Enid Miriam “Miri” (Brackenacre Huguenot of Bewmay ex Barrenger Red Devil) 1995-2006 Miri was born on Margaret’s parents Golden Wedding Anniversary and was named after her mother! She was only lightly shown as - like her mother - she liked to keep her light under a bushel. She was a very active & cheeky Basset and it was great that in 2005 she attended the Diamond Wedding celebrations of her namesake. Here is a portrait photo of her and a great photo of her enjoying a LARGE bone in her old age. As you can see she was quite a long girl!

This is our very much missed ‘Stella’ (Brandydale Gracious 1991-2005) Stella had the most immaculate front and shoulders but had a level bite. She managed to produce 2 puppies for us but was the most loving and clumsy mum, how they survived we don’t know - but we lost a lot of sleep. Stella was a very intelligent Basset and kept everyone under control with a lift of her eyebrow. Everyone loved her and still look for her when they visit! She was definitely ‘the hostess with the mostest’!! Stella lived to be 14 - we still remember you nearly every day.
“Can I swap you my squeaky bone for the shoe?”
“No I haven’t got a stick in my mouth”
“What makes you think I have been in the coal sack?”
Brandydale Bustle about Barrenger “Bustle” Ch/Ir Ch Barrenger Demon King ex Brandydale Joanna)
Bustle was a petite gentle lady. She won well when we were able to show her but suffered from dermadectic mange. She was never bred from as we did not wish to pass this down further. We managed to keep on top of this horrible condition - and Bustle was very rarely depressed - she bounced back with a bit of naughtiness and much and cheekiness.
